Here are a few of my favorite Maui to-dos. Haleakala definitely tops the list, together with whale watching (January-March).
We hiked the Lahaina Pali Trail from the Maʻalaea side. This challenging 6-mile hike climbs 1,600 feet along a rocky, exposed trail toward the windmills.
We made it to Wai’anapanapa State Park and Pa’iloa, its black sand beach. Be sure to book your reservations.
We made it to Pipiwai Trail! And yes, we are so glad we did. The weather was perfect, the bamboo forest amazing, and the falls stunning.
